With 14 years of hands on engineering experience in the telecommunications industry, David started Teliax in 2004 to bring cutting-edge VoIP technology to the masses with its unique open source technology. Prior to founding Teliax, David was Director of Business Development for the Colorado Governors Office of Innovation and Technology. He holds a BS in Finance from Colorado State University. When he’s not dedicating himself to new innovation, you’ll frequently find him up a creek or sliding down a hill somewhere in his backyard, the Rocky Mountains.
As our fearless CFO, Doug tackles all administrative, financial, and risk management operations for Teliax including the development of our financial and operational strategy.
With over 20 years experience in the telecommunications sector, Melinda has supported all aspects of our business. Providing strong business analytics to enhance customer experience and vendor efficiency creates an operational strength for Teliax and its customer base. Prior to joining Teliax, Melinda has managed sales, product, pricing, routing, vendor management and operations for multiple telecom companies. She holds a BBA in Management and MBA from Texas State University. When she is not working you can usually find her pool side cheering on their two sons, both competitive swimmers. She also enjoys reading, working out and spending time with friends and family.
John leads the company’s marketing and product initiatives to strengthen its core CPaaS business and expand into new markets on both the wholesale and enterprise fronts. Prior to joining Teliax, he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales at Inteliquent. John has also held executive positions at Level 3 Communications and Qwest Communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master of Arts degree in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University. When not working, John enjoys the outdoors and keeping up with the crazy schedules of his three kids.
A telecom sales veteran, Matt brings 20+ years of experience in sales, channel development and product management to Teliax. He most recently served as SVP of Sales and Marketing at Voyant, an Inteliquent company, and has held management positions within Cologix, Comcast, Intrado and Level 3 Communications, a CenturyLink company. Matt is a patent holder on auto-location services for 911 on mobile devices. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and a Master of Telecom Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Outside of work, Matt likes playing soccer, fly fishing and is an avid sports fan of all types.
A serial entrepreneur, Josh brings 25 years of technology-focused vision, leadership and technical know-how to the Teliax IT operations team. Josh spent 10 years as co-founder and COO of telecom provider Vitelity, which sold to Onvoy and is now part of Inteliquent. He has also started and led multiple B2C and B2B companies targeting the UAV, e-commerce and real estate markets. An outdoor enthusiast, Josh enjoys taking his Jeep off-roading through the Rocky Mountains, as well as traveling with his family.
With more than 20 years of experience, Amy leads People and Workplace Strategies for Teliax. She plays a pivotal role in developing programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience within #teamTeliax, and partners with leaders across the organization to directly impact the long and short-term strategic objectives while maximizing organizational effectiveness. Amy is passionate about building a culture of engagement, collaboration, knowledge sharing, diversity, and communication while strengthening and aligning teams for the common goal and the common good. Prior to Teliax, she has held HR leadership positions within the telecom industry as well as founded a successful consulting company.
With a career in developing global SaaS products around emerging technologies, Shawn heads the software development division across all Teliax companies. Collaborating with Product, Shawn turns vision into reality when building next generation API-driven SaaS products for partners and enterprise clients. Prior to Teliax, he was Global Leader of Software Engineering for publicly-traded Willis Towers Watson and has held senior leadership positions in Product Development, Technical Operations and Application Development. In his personal time, Shawn enjoys boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding and fishing.
